How we came to be
Recognizing the need for high-quality yet affordable pearl jewelry, our founders, Peter and Bob Cashman and John Ekegren, all successful Connecticut businessmen, used their longstanding contacts in China and their years of experience in e-commerce to create Moon River Pearls. By eliminating the middleman and importing pearls directly from our experienced pearl farmers in China, Moon River Pearls is able to offer the same or better quality pearls than those found in retail stores for a fraction of retail prices.
